ABA Centers Dominates Inc Regionals Southeast-List

A Two-Year Revenue Growth of 5,794 Percent Secured the No. 1 Spot Out of 192 of the Southeast Region’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Today, Inc., the leading media brand and playbook for entrepreneurs and business leaders, revealed that ABA Centers is No. 1 on its Inc. Regionals: Southeast list for the second year in a row. An extension of the national Inc. 5000, the Inc. Regionals offer a unique look at the most successful companies within the Southeast economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent businesses – throughout Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Puerto Rico.

In the two-year period between 2021-2023 assessed for this year’s Inc. Regionals list, ABA Centers’ revenue grew by 5,794 percent. The company was founded in 2020 with a very straightforward, yet ambitious, mission: to provide the most comprehensive and compassionate autism care to kids on the spectrum – and to provide it quickly. A combination of efficient operations and steadfast dedication to reaching as many families impacted by autism as possible has proved to be a profitable and sustainable model for the company. ABA Centers has maintained its upward trajectory with a de novo and self-funded growth strategy, utilizing its financial success to fuel and fulfill its future potential. This was done with no private equity or investor backing, while also encumbering minimal debt.

In that same two-year period, ABA Centers grew its active client base by 1,929 percent, while also expanding its geographic footprint, opening five new autism care centers. Today, the organization serves children on the spectrum in more than 40 markets through nearly 30 centers, as well as in-home, in-community, and in-school therapy services – and plans to open around 40 new centers throughout 2025.

“In just a few short years, ABA Centers has grown at an extraordinary pace, expanding our reach and impact while staying true to our mission of providing the most comprehensive and compassionate autism care to children who need it – without the wait lists,” said Jason Barker, CEO of ABA Centers. “This recognition underscores the demand for high quality autism care, as well as the sustainability of our approach. We remain committed to families affected by autism and ensuring that they receive the help – and hope – they deserve.”

The companies on this list show a remarkable rate of growth across all industries in the Southeast. Between 2021-2023, these 192 private companies had a median growth rate of 114 percent. By 2023, they’d also added 11,493 jobs and $8.1 billion to the region’s economy.

“The honorees on this year’s Inc. Regionals list are true trailblazers driving economic growth in their respective regions, industries, and beyond. This list celebrates their achievements and tells the stories of remarkable companies that are fueling growth and adding jobs in local economies throughout the country,” said Bonny Ghosh, Editorial Director at Inc.

The 2025 Inc. Regionals are ranked according to percentage revenue growth over two years. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021, and had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2023. The minimum revenue required for 2021 is $100,000; the minimum for 2023 is $1 million.
