Thank-You Letter to ABA Centers of Florida from Grateful Parents

Parent-Thank-You
Our founder, Christopher Barnett, recently received the following unsolicited letter from a parent explaining in detail her family’s autism journey and how she feels about ABA Centers of Florida’s work with her son.

Dear ABA Centers of Florida Team,

Wow, such an amazing group of people and individuals. Clinic Executive Director Sasha personally called me to walk me through the process and then met us at the house for a client visit.

Words cannot express what a true gem our BCBA Elena is. She is patient and understanding and truly loves what she does. The plan that she has put into place for our son Vinny has been absolutely outstanding, and he is currently making so many strides in the right direction. It is a beautiful thing when you can feel someone like Elena’s true intentions. There were countless times as a single mom when I wanted to pull my hair out, and I would have a conversation with her, and my entire perception would be different. We are thankful to have met her along this process and journey.

I cannot put into words the impact that our RBT Dante has had, not only on Vinny, but [also] his brother and me. He is calm, patient, and has the ability to hold Vinny accountable without making him feel bad. He has the capability to push Vinny to reach and achieve different personal goals as well as educational ones. Dante has truly become a part of our family, and there isn’t a day that goes by that the kids are not asking for Dante. Vinny has become more structured, takes pride in his hygiene, is more vocal, and is gaining self-confidence. I attribute that to the time and energy that Dante has spent with him.

With that being said, I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that strangers could make such an impact on our lives the way your team has. They have become part of our family, and I am beyond thankful and grateful for each and every one of them. Thank you wholeheartedly for providing a service for kids like Vinny. They deserve to feel like they matter, and thanks to your team, he feels that extra love that he was missing.

Sincerely,

Whitney R.
Mother of Vinny R.
